Just have a peek below at this week’s chart, and you’ll find that the country’s exciting general election stole the show on Twitter this week, landing the topic in the number one slot.
If you’re not keeping up with your musical high school dramedies, you were probably perplexed by the term “Grilled Cheesus” amid the trending topics this week. Thanks be to Glee for another episode that got people tweeting as they watched Finn pray to a toasted sandwich. The theme (and Gleek chatter in general) snagged spot number two for the hit Fox show.
The NFL stays strong on the chart this week, coming in at number three, and the awarding of this year’s Nobel Prizes got people tweeting about the news and the laureates themselves. The topic rolled in at number four.
