Fourteen hours and counting, and Tumblr is still down. This spells trouble for all those cubicle commandos looking for a morning blogging fix.
The site is currently displaying the above error message, which mirrors a tweet the blogging platform released yesterday. Yesterday, the main page read:
Now Tumblr has taken to Twitter once more to update its irate fans: “This has been a slow and painful recovery, but we’re almost through. We’ll have more info to share as soon as we can post to our blog again.”
We’ve reached out to Tumblr for comment, but suffice it to say, a 14-hour-plus outage is nothing to sneeze at. We’re hoping that Tumblr can remedy the issue soon.
