Nokia has announced that its new flagship smartphone, the Nokia N8, will be available in UK stores on October 22, and in Nokia’s online shop for immediate delivery from October 15.
Although Nokia insisted that Nokia N8 has arrived right on schedule, the device will be fashionably late, as it was originally supposed to hit physical stores in the UK on October 1.
The N8 features a 3.5-inch, 640×360 pixel capacitive touchscreen, 680 MHz CPU, 256 MB of SDRAM, 16 GB of on-board storage memory, as well as a 12-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, Xenon flash and Full HD capability.
The price for the device is £429 SIM ($683) free or on contract from £30 ($48) per month. It will be available in the stores of Carphone Warehouse, O2, Orange, Phones4u, T-Mobile, Tesco Phone Shops, Three Mobile, Virgin Mobile and Vodafone.
